ChatGPTで説明文を作ってみよう！｜ワールドトークブログ

こんにちは！
「完全基礎やり直し英語レッスン」
をしている、Shinkoです！

私のレッスンでは、YouTubeの動画を
聞いてもらい、Listeningとrepeatingを
して頂くのですが、加えてその状況を
説明する。と、言うこともして頂いています。

私たちの会話の中に、
「昨日、駅でこんな人たちを見かけた。」とか、
映画で見たワンシーンを説明して、
「こんな映画だったよ。」

なんていうこと、多々ありますよね。

自分はその映像を見ているし、状況が
しっかり把握できていますが
当然、相手は全くそのことを知りません。

なので、話を始める前に、出てくる人たちの
関係性とか（親子である、恋人、同僚など）
場所などを説明してからストーリーを話し始めます。

これは、同僚だけれど、顔を合わせたことの
ない２人が空港で会って、話をしてから

空港を出るまでの会話で、
３０秒ちょっとの動画です。

写真は左から右に行き、下の段に
移動して説明をしてもらいます。

最初に音を聞いてもらって、
内容を聞き取ってもらい、
リピートしてもらいます。

それから、使えそうな
フレーズを覚えてもらいます。

・　あなたのホテルはシティーセンターの中よ。
You’ re hotel is in the city center.

・ここ（空港）から、どれくらいなの？
How far is it ?

・約３０分よ。渋滞がなければね。
It’s about 30minutes if the traffic is ok.

・私の車は駐車場にあるわ。
My car is in the car park.

・まず、コーヒーはどうですか？
Would you like a coffee first?

・いいえ、結構です。
No,I’m fine,thanks.

・バッグをお持ちしましょうか？
Can I help you with your bags?

ここで、生徒さんに説明をして
もらったのですが、
「彼女が聞きました。彼が答えました。」
の繰り返しになってしまい、
会話文を説明するのにはどんな
言い方があるが思いつかない。と、
言われたので、
ここでChat GPTを使って説明文を作ってみました！

私がこの状況をAIに説明して、
文章の校正と、もっと説明を加えて。と言うと、
んな感じで返ってきました。

excitement. Her eyes scanned the
bustling crowd, seeking that familiar
face among the diverse stream of
passengers emerging from the gates.

occasionally smoothing down
her hair in nervous anticipation.

of conversations in different languages,
the echoes of luggage wheels rolling
across the floors, the occasional
announcement over the intercom,
all creating a symphony of travel.
The air was thick with a sense of
adventure and reunion.

Despite the bustling chaos around
her, the woman’s focus remained
unwavering. She clutched her phone,
checking for any updates on the
arrival time. Each passing minute
seemed both eternal and fleeting,
building the suspense of their reunion.

The minutes ticked by until finally,
among the throng of travelers,
she spotted him—a familiar figure
with an easy smile and a trace of
travel fatigue. Their eyes met,
and in that instant, the world
seemed to fade away. The joy on
her face was palpable, a mix of
relief and happiness, mirroring
the emotions that danced
across his features.

They closed the distance between
them in a heartbeat, engulfed in a
long-awaited embrace that felt like
coming home. The cacophony of
the airport faded into the background
as they exchanged words spoken
in soft tones, sharing stories of
the time they had been apart.

Surrounded by the transient nature
of an airport—where people come
and go, where arrivals and departures
mark the rhythm of life—their
connection stood firm, a testament to
the enduring power of love and
the magic of reunions.

いやいや、これは到底覚えられません。
次に、校正だけ頼むと、それでも５段で
返ってきたので、もう一度、言い直して、
ようやく半分以下の長さで返ってきました。

“At the UK airport, a woman waited
anxiously near the arrivals gate.
Finally, she found a man
and she approached him.
“Are you Mark Ryder?” she asked,
“Are you Allie?” he replied with
a smile and they exchanged greetings,

She informed him that his hotel was
in the city center.
He asked “How far is it?”
She mentioned ” It’s about
30minutes if the traffic is ok”
Her car was parked in the car
park. Before they headed there,
she asked
”Would you like a coffee first?
He politely declined, saying
“No, I’m fine, thank you“
“Alright.
Can I help you with your bags“ she offered.
He declined her help, saying,
“No thank you.”.
And then they headed to his hotel.

その内容で使えそうな単語やフレーズを選択し、
辞書やシソーラス（類義語）でさらに探して
会話文にしてここまで簡素化できました。

英語日記のリオさんも言われている通り、
100回くらい口にしないとすぐに
英語が出てこないので、
練習する必要がありますが、実際
これを100回言うのはかなり大変。

そこでさらに簡素化。

彼に近づいて聞いた。
approached , asked

彼はにっこりとして答えた。
replied and a smile.

彼女は伝えた。
informed

彼は丁寧に断った。
declined, politely

お手伝いしましょうか。言った。
offered, suggested

ホテルに向かった
headed to the hotel.

これを生徒さんに渡して覚えたい
フレーズを自分で選んでもらい、
一回の説明にいくつかの新しいフレーズを加えて
説明のたびにボキャブラリーを
増やしていく提案をしました。

ChatGPTは、完璧な答えや説明を
してくれるので、
どうしても長くなりがちです。

読むだけならいいですが、英会話は
すぐに言葉が出てこないと
練習した意味がないので、
ChatGPTからの返答を活かして
1日で終わるくらいまで簡素化すると、
勉強が捗ると思います。
