Fitness trainer with no legs who can
bench press 420lbs and do push-ups
in his wheelchair offers to train
other amputees for free.

足を持たないフィットネストレーナーさんが
できることは、車椅子ごと190キロの
重さで懸垂をすること。それは切断手術を
受けた人が自由に動けることを証明する
ということになります。彼は切断手術を
受けた人に無料でレッスンを
しているジムのオーナーです。

Zack Ruhl,26,from Texas runs a gym offering
free lessons to amputees. Both his legs
were amputated after he was born
with a rare bone condition.

26歳　テキサス出身のザック・ルールは
珍しい骨の状態で生まれ、
足の切断手術を受けました。

Zack started playing sports and lifting
weights in his school but his coaches
were reluctant to let him join
with the other children.

ザックは高校生の時にリフティング・
ウエイトを始めましたが、他の生徒の
ために彼がスポーツすることを
良しとしませんでした。

Sports coaches at school didn’t
want to let him play and they
worried he would hurt himself,
so he opened up his
own CrossFit gym.

学校のスポーツコーチ陣は、彼にプレイ
させたくありませんでしたし、
彼が彼のジムをオープン
することも心配していました。

His mother,Cheryl Corbello,made
him push his body even as
a baby aged 7months.”I would
never just his give him his baby
bottle, he’d have to crawl
in his body cast to get it.”

He used to ask me to leave stuff
down on the cabinets for him so
he didn’t have to reach up and I told him no-
I am not going to be here forever
you have to learn to do things yourself.

I told him he could be anything he wanted
and I didn’t care when people told him no,
we were going to find another
way to tell him yes.

My message for amputees or any
disability would be:don’t let anybody
tell you you can’t do something.

切断手術をした人、または障害者の人たちへのメッセージ：
あなたはなんでもできないなんて
誰にも言わせてはいけない。

You always have room to grow,
just keep going and
don’t let anybody tell you nothing.

あなたはいつもいつまでも成長できる。
ただ続けなさい。
あなたに何もないなんて人に言わせないこと。
